These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Client," "you," or "your") and St. Louis Mold Testing ("Company," "we," "our," or "us").
2. SERVICES DESCRIPTION
2.1 Services Offered
We provide professional mold inspection and testing services, including:
- Visual mold inspections
- Air and surface sampling
- Moisture assessment and mapping
- Laboratory analysis coordination
- Written inspection reports
- Post-remediation verification testing
2.2 Services NOT Offered
We do NOT provide:
- Mold remediation or removal services
- Medical diagnosis or treatment
- Legal advice or regulatory compliance certification
- Property warranties or guarantees
- Comprehensive home inspections
3. WEBSITE USE
3.1 Permitted Use
You may use our website to:
- Learn about our services
- Request quotes or consultations
- Schedule appointments
- Access resources and educational content
- Contact us with questions
3.2 Prohibited Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the website for any illegal purpose
- Submit false or misleading information

4. SCHEDULING AND APPOINTMENTS
4.1 Quote Requests
When you request a quote through our website or phone:
- Quote requests are not binding contracts
- Quotes are estimates based on information provided
- Final pricing may vary based on actual property conditions
- Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated
4.2 Appointment Scheduling
Once you schedule an appointment:
- We will confirm the date, time, and location
- You must provide safe access to all areas to be inspected
- You should disclose known issues or hazards
- Someone 18+ must be present during inspection
4.3 Cancellations and Rescheduling
Cancellation Policy:
- Client Cancellations: Must provide at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may incur a $75 cancellation fee.
- Company Cancellations: If we must cancel or reschedule, we will notify you as soon as possible and work to find an alternative time.
- Rescheduling: One free reschedule with 24+ hours notice. Additional reschedules may incur fees.
4.4 No-Shows
If no one is present at the scheduled appointment time and location:
- A $150 no-show fee will be charged
- Rescheduling requires payment of no-show fee
- We will attempt to contact you before leaving
5. PAYMENT TERMS
5.1 Pricing
Service fees are based on:
- Property size and type
- Scope of inspection requested
- Number of samples to be collected
- Travel distance (if applicable)
5.2 Payment Methods
We accept:
- Credit and debit cards
- Cash
- Checks (with prior approval)
- Electronic payments
5.3 Payment Timing
- Standard Inspections: Payment due at time of service or upon receipt of invoice
- Commercial/Large Projects: May require deposit or split payments
- Laboratory Fees: Included in service fee; billed at time of service
5.4 Late Payments
Invoices not paid within 30 days:
- May incur late fees of 1.5% per month (18% annual)
- May be sent to collections
- Client responsible for collection costs and attorney fees
5.5 Refund Policy
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis:
- No refunds for completed inspections and testing
- Refunds available if services not performed as agreed
- Laboratory fees non-refundable once samples processed
- Disputes should be raised within 30 days of service
6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
6.1 Website Content
All content on our website is protected by copyright and owned by St. Louis Mold Testing, including:
- Text, articles, and educational materials
- Images, graphics, and logos
- Website design and layout
- Trademarks and service marks
6.2 Use Restrictions

- Commercial republication requires written permission
7. WARRANTIES AND DISCLAIMERS
7.1 Service Warranty
We warrant that:
- Services will be performed in a professional manner
- Technicians are trained and certified
- Equipment is properly calibrated and maintained
- Reports accurately reflect findings and laboratory results
7.2 Disclaimers
EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED, SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING:
- No warranty that all mold will be detected
- No warranty of property condition or suitability
- No warranty of future absence of mold
- No implied warranties of merchantability or fitness
7.3 Website Disclaimer
Our website is provided "as is" without warranties:
- No guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
IMPORTANT LIABILITY LIMITATION:
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OUR SERVICES OR THIS AGREEMENT IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SPECIFIC SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

10. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

- Arbitration held in St. Louis, Missouri
- Each party bears own arbitration costs

You agree that any dispute will be resolved on an individual basis only. You waive any right to participate in class actions or class-wide arbitration.
10.5 Time Limit for Claims
Any claim arising from our services must be brought within one (1) year from the date of service or the date you discovered or should have discovered the issue, whichever is earlier.

12. MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS
